Especially in the current situation of the energy crisis, energy optimization in buildings has become a topic that concerns more and more companies. Therefore, the BlueRange team has set itself the goal to realize wireless connected buildings with the help of innovative IoT solutions that save energy while enabling a comfortable working environment. Since our founding, we have successfully digitized over 25 buildings and optimized them for energy efficiency. In doing so, we eliminate various deficits of conventional buildings. Using our patented BlueRange Mesh based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) a wide variety of sensors and components are communicating with each other in a particularly energy-efficient way. This technology offers a variety of use cases to automate room control or locate assets in a building. By using wireless technology, we can usually save a relevant amount of cable. In addition, radio-based sensors can be relocated much more easily than permanently installed components. This is an important argument for many project developers, as it is often not clear at the start of construction how the space will actually be used. Nevertheless, BlueRange also offers connectivity to wired building automation standards such as KNX or BACnet. BlueRange can control lighting, heating, ventilation and blinds completely automatically. This technology can help to optimize buildings for human well-being as well as energy efficiency. Ultimately, we want to digitize components so that they can work more autonomously. All building data can be accessed via a secure API using modern web standards such as HTTPS or MQTTS. This offering is supplemented by a sophisticated booking tool. Sensors can locate a workstation, a parking space, or a room nearby. A booking can be made easily via the BlueRange Workplace app.
